Event Info

Arm TechCon attendees will have the opportunity to experience firsthand the latest technology from a variety of Arm partners, including Micrium. The demos running in our booth will feature cores from all three of Arm’s Cortex families—the Cortex-A, Cortex-R, and Cortex-M—so practically all Arm users who visit us will find something to help with their next project. Our team will be on hand to discuss embedded software and answer challenging design questions.

If you’re interested in seeing our demos in action or setting up a meeting with our experts, please fill out the form below and we’ll get back to you.

Featured Demos

Xilinx OpenAMP: Micrium has supported the Xilinx UltraScale+ family since its introduction, and this demo features Micrium’s uC/OS-III real-time kernel running alongside Linux on an UltraScale+ ZCU102 evaluation kit. The two operating systems interact via OpenAMP, an efficient communication framework that the Multicore Association—of which Micrium is a member—is working to standardize. The system design highlighted in the demo, with uC/OS-III running on a highly reliable Arm Cortex-R core and Linux leveraging the performance capabilities of the UltraScale+ family’s Cortex-A53 cores, offers embedded developers an easy-to-follow template for combining RTOS performance with the extensive feature set of Linux.

Wi-Fi Expansion Board: In this demo, the recently announced Micrium OS enables Wi-Fi connectivity on a Silicon Labs Giant Gecko GG11 Starter Kit equipped with a WGM110 Wi-Fi expansion board.  The OS-based software featured in the demo provides a communication link to an Amazon EC2 instance hosting a drawing application that is capable of sending images to the kit’s LCD. Demo users are able to access the EC2 instance via their smartphones and control the content that is sent to the kit.
